Alpha is a series of informal conversations about faith, life, meaning,
spirituality, and the person of Jesus.
Take a moment to think, who in your life would benefit from trying Alpha?
STEP 2: CONNECT
Make space to connect relationally. This isn’t about a bait and switch to
achieve a specific result. It’s about reaching out to make a meaningful
connection. It might be as elaborate as baking a neighbor some cookies, as
normal as grabbing a coffee to catch up, or as simple as sending a friend a
text saying, “I was thinking of you today!”
When we think about inviting someone to Alpha—this is the part we
typically think about. But when it’s connected to normal conversation and
connection, it can actually feel pretty natural.
Share a little bit about what Alpha is, your experience on Alpha, and why
you think they might be interested. Remember, it’s not about getting a
specific outcome, but letting them know that this could be a cool space to
explore faith, share a meal, and meet others.
