VBS 2024
We believe ministry to children is one of the most important ministries here at Rockharbor. We are excited to join with families as we partner together to raise a generation of children who passionately follow Jesus, become like Him, and do what He does.

Early Childhood (Newborn-3 years)
The beginning of a child’s life is a time for parents to identify their community and to surround themselves with support. Feeling loved and safe at church is the beginning of the journey to a lifetime of faith. Even at the youngest age you can be assured your child and your family are being prayed for throughout the service.

4 Years - Kindergarten
For our preschoolers the message is simple. We want them to know that God loves them, God made them, and Jesus wants to be their friend. They are engaged and challenged with age-appropriate worship and Bible teaching by loving and consistent leaders. We combine childhood development techniques and practical theology to make each message relevant to your child.

Elementary (1st - 5th Grade)
Large Group: Studio K is a fun, high energy environment where kids come to know Jesus personally through worship and relevant creative Bible teaching. Each week we focus our efforts to see kids fall in love with Jesus and develop a deeper faith.
Small Group: We believe in the power of community. Our small group leaders recognize that they have a unique influence on your child. Their role is to encourage authentic faith as they follow up the large group teaching time and invest in the lives of a few.
When you arrive at the main entrance, you will see the Families Check-In area on the left side of the lobby. Here you will be greeted and assisted as you register your children for the first time. We will then direct you to one of our three children’s environments.
We care about the safety of your children and use two-part name tags with a unique family security number required to enter and exit our secure Family Ministry area. You will also show these same tags to pick your child up from their individual classrooms.

Big moments are an opportunity to remember and celebrate God’s faithfulness and His presence in our lives. Child Dedication and Baptism are two of those significant milestone markers.

Nurture
Nurture is a ministry intended to support mothers with community, mentor ship, prayer, and encouragement. This is a great opportunity to connect with other moms who are walking through the same stage of life as you.
