Uganda
Hope of Glory Christian School is a transformative K–8 educational initiative in Gulu, Uganda, rooted in the vision of Gulu Bible Community Church, led by Pastor Martin, and supported by a global partnership with Rockharbor Church. Located on a 50-acre property purchased by Rockharbor in 2009, the school currently serves students through 14 classrooms and two dormitories, with access to solar power and clean water.
Built on a foundation of academic excellence and Christian discipleship, the school aims to raise up to 400 young leaders and serve as a beacon of hope for the region. Future plans include a fully equipped medical clinic offering primary and dental care, and a professional-grade soccer stadium that will benefit the students and generate long-term sustainability for the school.
To realize this full vision, we are actively fundraising to complete the campus build-out. The remaining development—which includes the clinic, stadium, administrative offices, bigger dormitories, dining/multipurpose hall, and additional classrooms—is estimated to cost between $1–2 million. Together, we have a powerful opportunity to shape lives, strengthen a community, and invest in a generation of Christ-centered leaders in northern Uganda.
Harvest India
Education is a powerful gateway to freedom and sustainability for marginalized communities in India, especially for girls and young women facing the harsh realities of the caste system. Harvest India is committed to breaking these barriers by providing quality, values-based education—from preschool through higher education—offering hope and opportunity where it’s needed most.
In 2014, Rockharbor helped build facilities on Harvest India’s Tenali campus to care for and educate 500 orphans. Although government changes led to the closure of those orphanages, these buildings are now ready to be transformed into a co-ed school serving preschool through high school students, complete with dormitories and accredited programs that allow credits to transfer across India and beyond.
This school will blend tuition-paying students with scholarships for pastors’ children, orphans, and other vulnerable youth, creating a sustainable model that nurtures the whole child through interactive “smart” classrooms, green spaces, libraries, and extracurricular activities like chess, dance, karate, and public speaking.
By supporting this project, you’re helping repurpose these buildings into a vibrant place of learning and hope, empowering generations to break free from oppression and build a brighter future.
