2025-26 Annual Report

Welcome

Welcome from Glenn & Holly

Dear Rockharbor,

As we look back over this past year, we’re filled with gratitude for what God has been doing in our church.

We’ve entered the story of Scripture together. Through Alpha, we watched people wrestling with faith find space to explore their questions and meet Jesus. We stepped beyond our walls through All4Love. We saw our kids, youth, and young adults come alive in their faith, and people find formation and healing through Healthy Discipleship.

Our prayer at Rockharbor is that we would see spiritual renewal in Southern California. That’s why we create places for encounter, formation, and mission, so that we can know God and become His people for the good of the world.

Thank you for being part of what God is doing here.

We can’t wait for what’s next,

Glenn & Holly Packiam

Knowing Jesus in His Word

Enter the Story

Text overlay on an ocean view with cliffs and flowers in the foreground reads "Enter the Story: A year through the Bible together."

This year, we read the Bible together as a church through a year-long journey. We learned the basics through our video series in Groups, practiced rhythms of study and prayer, and went deeper at a Bible Forum Night with Dr. Carmen Imes.

Along the way, the Rockharbor App became a home base for the journey, with sermon notes, study and devotional videos, group guides, and a reading plan all in one place to help us keep walking with Jesus throughout the week.

Joining Jesus in His Work

Alpha

This past ministry year, we hosted three Alpha courses, creating space for guests to explore the basics of the Christian faith over dinner and honest conversation, with no pressure and no judgment. Thanks to the leaders who served at every table, we saw lives changed as people encountered Jesus and the Holy Spirit, many for the very first time.

Reaching the Next Generation

At RH Kids, our heart is to partner with parents as their kids learn to know the love of God, find their place in His story, and take their first steps of following Jesus.

This past year, we got a front-row seat to God's faithfulness in the lives of our kids, and one of the brightest moments was VBS in June. 196 kids and 100 volunteers filled our church with worship, laughter, and the good news of Jesus, and it was a joyful reminder that forming the next generation is something we get to do together.

Youth

This year, RH Youth launched a brand-new Sunday gathering at Mariners Christian School, opened Scripture together through summer Bible studies, and spent a week in the mountains at camp. Through it all, God has been so faithful, and we can’t wait to see what He does next in the lives of our 6th–12th graders.

Young Adults

Rockharbor Young Adults (RHYA) was a welcoming space for 18–30 year olds to connect this past year! In January, we launched Post 5pm, a weekly gathering after every 5pm service where young adults can meet one another and grow deeper in community together.

Going Deeper Through

Discipleship Courses

We believe transformation happens in community. As we open the Scriptures together and share our lives honestly, we make room for the Spirit to do what only He can do.

Through our courses and ministries this year, we were able to meet people in every season, from exploring faith in Alpha to going deeper in Healthy Spirituality; from equipping moms at Nurture to finding healing after divorce; from building new connections through our Men’s and Women’s Ministries to growing in Healthy Relationships.

Financial Stewardship

More than half our budget invests in people, because people do the work of ministry and make disciples. As always, roughly 10% is given away through First Fruits in missional partnerships locally and around the world.

You have a role to play.

Consider how God has called and enabled you to financially invest in our future together.

For some, this means giving for the first time. For others, it means giving beyond what you normally do. For all of us, there is something we can give in obedience to God to invest in our future.
