God brought Harvest India into ROCKHARBOR’s view several years ago with a visit from Pastor Suresh Kumar. We learned of their mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all of India by reaching out to the poorest of the poor. We saw the ways that Harvest India focuses on caring for the poor, the orphaned, the elderly, and the sick, as well as their focus on training Bible college students and equipping pastors throughout India.

Our hearts quickly united and we have had a growing partnership ever since! ROCKHARBOR continues to come alongside the work of Harvest India by sending short-term teams annually; financially supporting Bible college students, orphans, and pastors; training local pastors; planting churches in remote villages; installing pumps for clean drinking water and much more.

In 2005, God further unified ROCKHARBOR and Harvest India through the completion of a ROCKHARBOR sponsored children’s home that cares for 350 orphans. The ROCKHARBOR family has also supported the provision of food, shelter, and education for 300 orphans and 200 Bible college students for the past several years.

We invite you to step in to the work God is doing in India through this exciting ministry!

We have walked with, learned from, and served alongside Harvest India for almost 16 years.  If you have given to ROCKHARBOR, you have already been involved in this relationship!  A portion of all gifts given to ROCKHARBOR are set aside to empower initiatives that build the kingdom of God including Harvest India initiatives.

As a church, we support a large children’s home that cares for more than 350 children.  This year, we invite you to step in to this story by becoming a monthly supporter of one or more of these children.  For just $35 a month, you can help transform the future of a child by providing shelter, food, medical care, education and the love of Christ!  For more information on how to sponsor a child, click here
