BASICS

Describe your job
I love what I do because my job is to go out and find the stories of how God is moving in and through our church and tell those stories through film. My greatest hope is that people’s faith is made stronger through the films that I make, that people are inspired to a deeper life with Jesus, and that people can’t help but share what they see with others. And I absolutely love getting to do this with an incredible team of volunteers.
One thing people don’t realize about the RH Churchwide staff that they need to know?
You probably didn’t realize that.
Tell us a story of what you’ve seen God do through your ministry
My second Easter leading the video team I’ll never forget my lead camera operator tapping me on the shoulder and asking me to take over his camera for a little while. I just figured he needed to go to the bathroom or something. He handed me the camera and walked down to the front of the amphitheater to receive prayer. This was just one of those moments when I was suddenly reminded that its not just about what we capture with our cameras but its also about us participating in the ministry taking place as well. This is a story I still share with my teams every time we go out to shoot.
