ROCKHARBOR is a church that is represented by multiple generations. For the next generation – the college somethings and high school students – we feel hugely excited and accountable to become a church family that is walking alongside them, equipping them for life and ministry, and sending them out to become the leaders, citizens, friends, and family that God has created them to be.
One of the best ways to raise them up as the Church is to put them alongside Christ-followers that have been doing this a few years longer. We have many 60-somethings, 50-somethings, 40-somethings and 30-somethings that have insight, wisdom, and resources to offer.
This year, we’ll do just that…creating compelling relationships through mentorships.
Mentorship Training
Come learn about what it means to mentor & be mentored at RH through one of our training courses. You’ll be equipped, paired up, and launched into a 12-week mentorship journey.
Sign up for an upcoming training on CORE.
Marriage Mentors
We’re always looking for couples interested in sharing the lessons of their life together as mentors who walk together with newly married couples. If you’ve seen God work within your marriage and have been married for at least three years, we invite you to consider the ways God can use you to bless the beginning of other couples’ lives together. Each year, we have training classes to prepare you to walk together with another couple. The training includes: conflict resolution and communication skills, systems for dealing with personality differences, spiritual oneness, gender differences, family difficulties, and finances.
If you are newly married and would like to walk alongside a couple who is a few steps ahead of you, please contact our marriage ministry team.
