Advantage Foster Care

A small, friendly foster care agency serving children and families throughout Orange County. Clients of Advantage are treated like family. Advantage offers training and placement services for families looking to participate in various levels of the foster care system. In addition, they offer restorative services to bio families who are being reunited with their kids.

Day in the Park

Started by a group of RH attendees passionate about getting to know their homeless neighbors, this monthly gathering has grown into a multi-church outreach now led by Redemption Church. Every month, the group gathers for food, conversations, music and outdoor games to further build relationships with local families, neighbors and men & women without shelter from all over Costa Mesa. They meet monthly at Lyons Park in Costa Mesa off of 18th and Park & anyone is welcome!

Hope Force International

Orange County Juvenile Hall

Orange County Juvenile Hall is for boys and girls, generally between ages 12 and 18, who are detained pending juvenile court hearings or who remain in custody by order of the juvenile court. Volunteers are needed weekly to lead a small group Bible Study, mentor a youth, or meet for one on one discipleship. Weekly volunteers must attend an orientation and complete a 4-5 month training and clearance process. Volunteers can also serve three times a year without the training process by greeting/ushering at the Sunday morning church services (8-11:30 a.m.) or by participating in one of the outreaches throughout the year (Christmas, Easter, Bible Jeopardy).

Healthbridge Children’s Hospital

Healthbridge focuses on the care and treatment of children, adolescents, and young adults who have suffered from a disabling injury or illness. spend an afternoon with severely injured and neurologically damaged children and their families through creative arts, crafts, music, and individual interaction.

Kidworks

The KidWorks programs focus on supporting families with children of all ages who are in school. The youth in these neighborhoods are at risk of academic failure due to neglect, abuse, violence, drugs, gangs, teen pregnancy and a lack of positive influences. KidWorks provides programs that are designed to reverse these trends. They encourage academic excellence, health and well-being, economic development, character building and leadership development.

Royal Family Kid’s Camp

Royal Family Kids Camp mission is to take foster kids, aged 6 – 11, through a one week camp to model the love of Jesus Christ, demonstrate that there are loving adults whom they can trust, build their self-esteem by treating them like royalty and most importantly, teach them that there is a God that loves them and has a positive plan and purpose for their life despite their current circumstances. In short, our goal is to provide a positive memory and plant a seed of hope for them to build on.

Teen Leadership Foundation

The Teen Leadership Foundation offers support and guidance for teens prior to being “aged out” of the foster care system. Programs provide avenues in which the teens can enter the adult world having a support basis surrounding them. Through a weekend leadership camp program the teens can develop a relationship with a stable adult figure to become a positive role model and a lifelong mentor.
