God brought Harvest India into RH’s view several ago with a visit from pastor Suresh Kumar. We learned of their mission to spread the gospel of Jesus Christ to all of India by reaching out to the poorest of the poor. We saw the ways Harvest India focuses on caring for the poor, orphaned, elderly, and sick, as well as trains Bible college students and equips pastors throughout India.
Our hearts quickly united and we have had a partnership ever since. Support from RH includes sending teams annually for evangelism, financially supporting Bible college students, orphans, and pastors, training local pastors, planting churches in remote villages, installing pumps for clean drinking water, and much more.
In 2005, God furthered unified RH with Harvest India through the completion of a ROCKHARBOR-funded orphanage that houses 300 orphans. In addition, the ROCKHARBOR family funded the food, shelter, and education for 300 orphans and 200 Bible college students for the last three years.
Whether it’s an upcoming trip, a local prayer night, or other gathering, stepping into this ministry can happen at any time and in a number of different ways.
