Special Needs

The Special Needs Ministry supports families who have children with special needs. We want to include your child in every aspect of RH|Kids, RH|Middle School or RH|High School.

We are capable of offering you as a parent: a safe and loving environment for your child, a screened and trained one-on-one buddy for your child during events and services, the commitment that we will take advantage of each teachable moment to help your child to know, love, and follow God, a parent to parent mentorship, and community resources upon request

If you would like to be part of this ministry there are several roles you can step into:

Buddy: school year commitment every weekend or summer commitment every weekend. Requirement: a willing heart and committed.
Sub-buddy: fill in for buddies when needed, this role is for those who have a crazy schedule but want to be involved.
Shepherd: 1-year commitment every other month. Oversee buddies during one service and help train them. Be there for any new children that may come. Requirement: work in the special education field.
Parent mentor: you yourself have a child with special needs and would like to walk along side other parents at the start of their journey.
