ROCKHARBOR is a church marked by dependence on Him. A culture not lacking in ideas, plans, and go-getters…we realize the very real temptation to lean on our own capabilities. Our own talents. Our own strength. But to be people that are most dangerous to impact the world for the Kingdom, we must be people whose first move is to actively wait. So for a season, we put our plans on hold to pray and pursue God. And as we did, He responded by giving us His spirit and His power. He responded by giving us Himself.

“Awakened” captures our stepping into the call to not take one step outside of God’s strength and direction. These songs were recorded over a 3-day period before Easter 2009. Through them, we leaned into active waiting and dependence, seeking God’s power and direction for His church. Out of them, we celebrated Him once again doing what only He can do.
