ROCKHARBOR is raising up communities who are bringing the gospel to a world in need.

 

over the past few years, God has been teaching ROCKHARBOR to give ourselves away. to live radically, generously, and selflessly. as we reoriented our lives, He awakened us to people. people in need. people who are hurting. people living without the basic necessities of life. people who are lonely. people without answers. and people without hope.

 

in view of the love God has shown each of us, and in discovery of His heart for this world in need...we are compelled to go out. His love that we've received calls us out, to bring the truth of the gospel into the the world, to these very people.

 

so that is exactly what we're going to do. we are raising up communities to send them out to the people around them. these will be communities within southern california who worship, pray, learn, and serve together. communities who live their lives, set apart for Jesus, as ambassadors of this gospel message.

 

practically speaking, this means our strategy needs to fall in line. so, this year ROCKHARBOR is raising up 2 campuses and sending out 1 church plant. starting with the launch of the south county campus in september, we're quickly moving forward with a second campus in the fullerton area of north county that is scheduled to launch this spring. on the church plant side of things, as we celebrate the commissioning of our first plant in long beach, this next ministry year will be dedicated to raising up a spiritual community for a church plant in hollywood. these expressions of ROCKHARBOR will be aligned under the shared purpose of living out the gospel together.
