ROCKHARBOR family,
ROCKHARBOR family,
we’ve had such a great year of many new beginnings. through 2+1 and beyond, we’ve seen God advance His Kingdom in ways that we hope to be celebrating for years to come. and while we live in the excitement of these new beginnings, we do realize that change is sure to follow. this past weekend, we shared a significant change within our community that will take us into our future.
after a year and a half of prayer, thought, and discussion, mike and justina erre feel like God is calling their family out of the ROCKHABOR community. todd and the elder board have journeyed with mike through much of this process and have affirmed his decision to follow God's leading to whatever is next for him and his family. at this point, the erres are not sure where God is leading, but simply sense God is asking them to lay down mike's role as teaching pastor at ROCKHARBOR before their next step is revealed. to hear directly from mike on this, please click here for a letter he has written to the RH community.
we understand a transition like this can prompt several questions regarding both mike's and ROCKHARBOR's futures. what is mike doing in the interim? when is he officially leaving? who will replace him? this wednesday, we are creating space for us to process this change together as a church family. we will hear more from mike and our leadership team about the ways God has led us to this point, how He's leading us into our future, and have a time for questions and answers.
