RH fullerton | what is it, anyway?
as part of the 2+1 vision God has given ROCKHARBOR, we’re launching a campus in fullerton. we understand there’s still a bit of confusion about what a campus is and also what to expect specifically in fullerton. so let’s try to clear that up.
RH fullerton | what it isn’t…
a venue for weekend services
RH fullerton is not something to attend. it’s a community to belong to. our hope is that everyone who makes RH fullerton home will attend weekend celebration services, belong to a life group, serve in a RH fullerton ministry, and actively pursue serving opportunities in their personal north county community.
we want RH fullerton to be a community where anyone can belong. whether you’re 18 or 58, there is a place for you within this campus.
at this time, RH fullerton has no plans to be independent from ROCKHARBOR Church.
ROCKHARBOR’s third campus
as a campus, this community is the full expression of ROCKHARBOR Church that exists in fullerton for the sake of the north orange county communities. it contains a similar spectrum of ministries as RH central but executes them within a fullerton context [i.e. fullerton life groups, a fullerton alpha course, fullerton serving opportunities, etc.]
this community submits to the authority of the RH strategic team and elder board as they respond to God’s leading and cast vision for all of RH’s campuses. the campus is also centrally resourced by current RH staff.
alongside the two other RH campuses, this campus shares RH’s overall vision to be a community living out the gospel together. we also share RH’s values for each of its ministries [i.e. celebration services, communications, life groups, etc.]
simply put, it’s where the people are.
