Becoming One

We all know that the divorce rate is very discouraging and that many marriages that don’t end in divorce are still just barely holding together.

But we want ROCKHARBOR marriages to be much more than just held together. We want Jesus to be enthroned in our marriages in such a way that sets them apart for the sake of the Gospel. We want to see a community filled with these sorts of compelling marriages. Through courses, conferences and mentoring relationships, we are learning how to have compelling marriages.

Becoming One is great for married couples of all ages and years married. In this class, you’ll learn tools to strengthen and challenge your marriage and maintain a good marital relationship. Among the topics discussed are: personalities, love languages, communication, conflict resolution, finances, sex, resources, and so much more. This class is taught by Chas and Stephanie Leeper.

This is a 7-week course, on Tuesday nights (7-9 pm) from April 16th through May 28th. Classes will be held in the LAB at 3095 Red Hill Avenue, Costa Mesa (ROCKHARBOR office building).

If you want us to arrange childcare for your children, you must register your children with you (under your household) as you sign up. Payment is $30 per child for all 7 weeks (this is one fee for childcare, regardless of whether you use all 7 weeks, or just 1 week). Childcare will be located in the nursery wing at 345 Fischer. Please come early to drop off your children before heading over to your class.

Your spouse must sign up for this class as well (or you may add them from your “household”). We need each family member’s name in order for us to make name tags and to know how many people to expect (for materials, attendance, and coffee).
