Family
The Church is not about individuals. It is about us, and we are to be family. Here at ROCKHARBOR, that means we are not content with anonymity. We are not content with coming and going and never laying roots. We are not content with keeping one another at arm’s length or having our relationships defined by simply sitting next to each other for an hour and a half each weekend.
We believe Jesus calls us to live out the Gospel together. On the cross, Jesus not only reconciled us to God…He reconciled us to each other. And there is a world around us that needs to see a community that pours into, sacrifices for, and prefers each other.
Family Initiatives
Here are some of the ways ROCKHARBOR is living out this idea of family together:
Life Groups
Life Groups are simply groups of people who meet during the week to study the Scriptures, worship, pray, and serve in their unique neighborhoods and communities.
Mentorships
Mentorships are a way for our multi-generational church to raise up and invest in the 20-somethings and high school students God has brought to RH. Whether you are looking to mentor or be mentored, check out one of these trainings.
Nurture
Nurture is a community of women that come together for weekly prayer, discussion, breakfast, and inspiration. Together, we hope to create a safe and prayer-filled place for women to be encouraged, grow deeper in their relationship with God, and develop relationships with other women at RH.
Men’s Ministry
Our men’s ministry sees RH men come together to discuss, listen, worship, learn, pray, and laugh together. The weekly gathering time also serves as a launch pad into service opportunities for our men to give away what God has given them.
