In view of who Jesus is and what He’s done, we are called to take off our old identities, leaving behind all the pursuits and lies that came with them. Instead, we put on the new identity He’s has given us, choosing to pursue who God says we are and what that means for our lives.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, he is a new creation; the old has gone, the new has come!”
2 Corinthians 5:17

At some point, each of us faces the truth that the world was not how it was intended. We were not how we were intended.

In view of the hopelessness around us…
In view of the insecurities in us…
In view of the pain that surrounds us…

We begin to ask…Who am I?

Many people will spend their whole lives pursuing this question. But Jesus came into this broken world to be the answer.

In the midst of our striving…
In the midst of our searching…
In the midst of our facades…

God’s love crashes through the identities we’ve created and declares…

“You are mine.”
