Hometown: these days, i live in the incredibly well-planned community known as Irvine.  however, i grew up in the Hills of Anaheim.
Family: me, my two younger sisters (Meri lives in New York and works for Marc Jacobs and Megan is off trying to save the world) and my parents (Gerald and Debbie… they still live in the Anaheim Hills with their many dogs) make up the Barnes family unit.  also, i have a french bulldog named Rogue and she is amazing.

Describe your job.
developing, brainstorming, praying, thinking, speaking, training, eating, overseeing, collaborating & teaching.
Describe a normal day.
emails, meeting, emails, lunch meeting, post-lunch meeting, youtube, emails, meeting.
Meetings…love ‘em or hate ‘em?
depends on the meeting. love lead team and tru team meetings.
Favorite accomplishment/project since joining staff?
the TruWorship albums
One thing people don’t realize about the staff that they need to know?

we have no idea what we’re doing.
Tell us a story of what you’ve seen God do through your ministry [use more than 10 if you need to].
watching kids and parents realize that they are a part of God’s story and seeing their response to that has been incredible.  i get to watch lives get transformed every week and it has transformed me.

Beach or mountains?
i once went to the beach in the mountains.  that was weird.
PC or Mac?
really?  would anyone actually choose a PC?

artistic sports.  like… um… impressionist football?

i’m not in Cele|Com so i can’t pull off skinny jeans.

Randoms:

Most embarrassing moment?
walking into a random home in England thinking it was the B&B i was staying in and not realizing it until i’d interrupted a family dinner and almost walked into an 8 year old’s room that i thought was my own.  (it was the same house model in a track of homes!)  i ran away… very quickly.
Favorite date spot in the OC?
the Jack in the Box on the corner of Newport and Fair.  chicks dig it.
In the next 5 years, I will….

accomplish my life-long goal of teaching my dog to speak Spanish.
The best movie of all time is clearly…
the Harry Potter movies have totally transformed my approach to ministry.  (that’s sarcasm… please don’t send emails.)
