RH In Motion
If you've been around ROCKHARBOR for any time at all, you know that we are a community that is always in motion. Always seeking to find where God is moving, and responding with humble and willing hearts to follow Him. Here we find stories of what God is doing in us and through us. Here we are encouraged to keep following Him. Here we are called to step into the journey.

Welcome Week: Dinner for 8
Contributed by Chelsy Davis
For those of you who may not be aware, this week is “Welcome Week” at ROCKHARBOR. This means there are a few different “goings on” that are meant to encourage the communities to get to know each other, to develop friendships with other Christ followers and to really strengthen the fellowship here at ROCKHARBOR.
One such happening is the Dinner for 8. Basically, you meet up with eight strangers for conversation and food. I know it might sound like some weird blind date but it really isn’t as awkward as it seems. You go into it knowing that you have at least two things in common; you are all following an awesome God and you all attend one of the campuses at ROCKHARBOR. That alone makes for easy conversation.
I signed up on CORE for Tuesday evening and I thought it was a great experience. We met up at the Cheesecake Factory at Fashion Island. I was able to meet seven wonderful Christian women that I might otherwise have never met. Conversation was easy, dinner was tasty and funny enough most of us had a friend or more in common with at least one person. After dinner, we all exchanged our contact information and left knowing we had made seven new friends.
Aside from Dinner for 8, we also have Life Group Launch Wednesday and Thursday evening, Homecoming Dance Friday evening and the Old Fashioned Picnic this Sunday. You can find more information on “Welcome Week” on the RH website and/or sign up on CORE.
